Party lighting usually means extra gear and wiring. Firedance uses Wi-Fi smart lights, so there is nothing to hang or wire.

During the party

Change the lights anytime

Use the Firedance app to change colors or turn the lights off during the party, without stopping the music. You decide when the lights start and stop.

Guest phones

Let a guest play their music

Friends can play from their own phone and their own music app, with nothing to install. Their phone pairs with FirePod like any Bluetooth speaker, and you choose whose turn it is with Play From in the Firedance app.

  1. Tap Add Guest Phone. FirePod shows up on their phone for 2 minutes.
  2. They choose FirePod in Bluetooth settings. You check the code matches and tap Allow.
  3. Tap Play From when it's their turn. Tap your own phone to switch back.

Only you can add guests or switch phones. A guest's phone is removed after 24 hours, or sooner if you tap Forget.

Shared playlists

Pick the music together

Let friends add songs with your music app's group features. Your lights follow whatever plays.

Spotify

  • Jam Start a Jam and friends can add songs to the queue from their own phones.
  • Collaborative playlists Invite friends to a playlist and build it together before the party.
  • Blend Mix everyone's taste into one playlist.

Apple Music

  • SharePlay Friends with Apple Music can add songs to what is playing.
  • Collaborative playlists Invite friends to a playlist and everyone can add songs.

YouTube Music

  • Collaborative playlists Turn on collaboration for a playlist and share the link.
